GPS in a cell phone?

im looking for a phone thats nice, price isnt really a problem, kinda, but i want a phone that can use verizon networks. and have free GPS in it so i can find my way when i get lost, as im horrible at rembering roads and stuff. dont want a tom tom, want something like a phone tomtom, whatever gets me to point B. wifi would be great, so i can log into my wireless router and chat or send emails

VZ Navigator or Standalone GPS?

I have a Verizon Wireless cell phone and I have been paying the a month extra for the VZ Navigator service. Im a installation technician and I use VZ Navigator almost everyday. I have thought about getting a standalone GPS but the problem I have is I would have to always carry it from my car to my work van and then back to my car everyday, since I could possibly use it for something else when at home. I also look at that I have given Verizon 0 so far for VZ Navigator where I could have bought a fairly nice GPS at that price. So Im just wanting to see what you guys would do if you were in my shoes. Also if I would get a standalone GPS what brand would be best a Garmin, TomTom or a Navigon. Is the Navigon street view that great like they make it sound? Thanks for the help.

How does Blackberry + Google Maps + Bluetooth GPS receiver compare with a dedicated GPS unit?

For anyone who has tried a Bluetooth USB receiver like Holux with Google Maps or so as well as a low-end Garmin/TomTom/Mio, how does the experience compare? Without GPS receiver, Google Maps pops up balloons for each step of the route. Does that change any with a BT GPS paired? Is it any more readable, and is it usable in a moving car?

Is the Blackberry Maps app any better? Any other software that could be used for navigation in a car?

Can i use a bluetooth gps receiver on the new ipod touch and have a programme like tomotom on the ipod tou?

i was able to use my bluetooth gps receiver on my n95 with tomtom, but was wondering if it was possible to like use it on the new ipod touch?
any answers will be greatly appreciated

RoqyBT GPS – Navigon UK – Ipod Touch Sat Nav

I bought the bluetooth gps receiver off ebay for £10 and also the roqyBT software from cydia that cost me around £7 for the full version. This software enables me to use any bluetooth gps receiver on the market to use sat nav on my ipod touch. In order to do this, you will need a jailbroken device. I have a Ipod Touch 2G with the winterboard theme from cydia ‘Leopard theme’. I have used TomTom and navigon on this device and im sure that there are more navigational apps out there that will be compatible in this method. i think this is a much better alternative than the other ‘gps360 from orange gadgets’.
