verizon wireless location tracking?….?
does anyone know if i called a verizon wireless customer service rep, would they be able to tell me approximately where i was located when i made/received a call? (im desperate and they are not open right now) thanks.

Yes they can… They do it by the distance you are/ were from the nearest cell tower…

no. they cant tell you that. they might be able to tell u were ur last call was from but all that says is the town the tower was in that you were picking up service from and u can get service from a tower 90 miles away.
i worked there for 2 years and there was a time a 911 operator called in becuase a verizon customer called 911 and didnt know where he was but he had been in a car wreck and his girlfriend was possibly dead and we couldnt track the call, its just not something the can do.
